The space
This property is designed with motel-like suites in mind. There are three separate suites available for the individual business traveler with a short-term stay in mind. Guests share a relaxing living room, spacious dinning room, and beautiful kitchen in the commons areas.
If you’re a large group or family, you may want to book two or all three rooms. No problem. If the rooms are available, they’re yours.
Burchell’s White Hill Farmhouse Inn
Burchell’s White Hill Farmhouse Inn is located northwest of Minden and is Central Nebraska’s “Newest” Old Country Inn. The farmhouse provides bed and breakfast lodging in four beautiful, comfortable guestrooms with private baths and private entrances. You can enjoy quiet country charm in the middle of a working farm. The guestrooms feature individual temperature controls, farm fresh complete breakfasts, modern conveniences, and limited free wireless internet.
The on-site restaurant is located in a remodeled barn and is open for special events. It features smoked brisket, chicken, ribs, and sausage as well as homemade rolls and desserts. It is also generally for public dining with reservations available on Fridays and Saturdays from 5-9 pm.
Camping
The RV Park, located directly behind Heritage Hall, provides RV parking with water, sewer, and electrical hook-ups as well as water and electric-only hookups. They also offer pull-through and back-in sites, a dump station, shower house and restrooms, shaded and non-shaded sites, tent camping, a guest laundry, and Wifi. Downtown Minden is within walking distance as well as several dining facilities, the local bowling alley, and spirits shop. Please call for reservations.
Fort Kearny State Recreation Area

Enjoy a hike/bike trail that crosses two channels of the Platte River and covers 1.8 miles just north of Interstate 80 at the Fort Kearny State Recreation Area. A state park permit is required. It can be purchased at the campsite for $5.00 a night or $25.00 annually. Camping is $13.00 per night for non-electrical and $20.00 for electric hookups.
